About Us

We are saddened to share that we’ve made the difficult decision to not renew our courses at this time. Our hope is to continue to promote leadership growth through other avenues while continuing to provide resources and ideals until we are able to offer CEU enabled courses in the future.

Thank you for all your support, and remember:

Keep Leading. Keep Learning

It all begins with an idea.

I grew up the son of a nursing home administrator; meaning I visited on holidays, I volunteered with activities, I put on a magic show or two, I even raced my friends on the extra motorized scooters. I also grew up loving books and have become an avid reader. One day I was taking a required training on infection control , or hand-washing or something like that that I’ve taken countless times. I was not doing a good job of paying attention and decided to pick up the book I was reading when I had a thought, I wish I could earn continuing education units (CEU’s) for this book. After some thinking, some research, some procrastinating, some more thinking, some life changes (like changing jobs, moving out of state and having our second child) Leadership CEU’s was born.

While building this web-site and running senior living communities, I’ve come to recognize and realize that technical knowledge (e.g. survey compliance, MDS, etc.) plays an important role, but this is a people business of residents, team members, families and others in which leadership skills are crucial.

So our aim at Leadership CEU’s is to provide Continuing Education Unit (CEU) opportunities aimed at helping you continue to grow as a leader so you can improve the lives of others.
